Picked up a Marlin 125th Anniversary Knife made by Camillus. It is serial numbered in the three thousand range (gave $40). Came in a white and blue box, leather case, and some tissue paper. Looks as though it was a registered marlin item. Does anybody know about how many were produced and what retail might have been? Not exactly an old item but a marlin one none the less  .
Thanks
Darin

Can't tell you how many were made but they were quite popular and well received. The $40 you paid seems to be the going rate. Parley

Yes it is a registered Marlin Firearms Co. knife. That was a very good price you paid for it. Ive' seen a couple of them on Ebay bring well over that much.

That's less than they cost new! I see them going much more than that frequently. Mostly in the $55-$65 range.

Probably so Parley, if it went under $50. I've bought these over the years for as little as $35, but I just can't find them under $50 anymore, and that's not often either.
