Afternoon guy's/gal's, The camp9 carbine i brought might have a scope on it soon.
The scope is a 3x9-50ac, and i have a scope mount from my 1894 lever action.
The mount will fit on the camp9.

The question is, would the scope look good on the camp9?
With scope, i can reach-out there where no man had gone before.
I only have one eye, due to a accident. I also have a fake eye.
So, a scope might be the ticket to see out there at 100 yards.
I'm a retired ARMY MARKSMAN and i can still hit my targets..:dancing:

For us "Senior eyes" I scope when ever it fits (some rifles should just be open sights, M1 Carbine and Garand, Some lever actions and a pump or two). My Camp has a simple red dot, works fine for me. So I say scope and shoot until your cup runs over!!!!!!!

I shoot with a bunch of veterans. Former Coast Guard my self. We all use scopes..........

Rock, Nice Nickel camp 9. You should find a nickel Marlin Factory Magazine for it. As far as looks, who cares. What good is a tool you can't use if you can't see the target....... I hunt deer in the dense woods of Western Penna. where 60 yards is a long shot. A scope on a lever gun really doesn't help. Open sights is the way to go. I like your 44 mag.

I install a Fastfire III on my Camp 45. The red dot made a big different in the fun factor.

I knew they existed, but I'd never seen a nickel camp carbine either. Must be rare. I wish I had bought a warehouse full of these back in the 80/90's at $280 a pop, I could sell them for 3 times that today. I'd be RICH!

NO you would not! You’d just have wasted the money on guns....

I know where you're coming from, but just for reference, that $280 invested in S&P 500 stocks in 1980 would be worth $17,550 today. Kinda makes one wish they'd put aside that extra "couple bucks" back then!

Rock,

Very nice. I found a nickel magazine at a local gun show for a good price and added it to my collection. Numrich has some nickel parts still.

Numrich is great. They have a good supply of camp 9 parts for sale.
Unfortunately,I think they are closed for COVID 19 right now and not taking orders?

I see you have the Deluxe Model Camp 9 Ed17, nice! You don't see many of those deluxe stocks. I had one as well, once upon a time, but got to really hankering for an 1894 44 mag, and found a guy with one, hankering for a Camp 9, so we swapped! I still love the 44 mag, but I do miss the Camp 9. Ended up buying a Beretta CX4 Storm 9m carbine to replace it,...............of course then I had to get a Beretta 92FS as they share mags.

I think the S&W 5906 magazines will work in a Camp 9,......if my think'n is straight.
