Marlin Microvue scope

Hi, I have an original Marlin Microvue 4X scope that has some kind of dust bunny on one of the crosshairs. Is this something that I can take apart and clean myself or am I asking for trouble? Anyone know what this scope is worth?
Thanks
Garry

If the problem is internal, your out of luck. If you try/take it apart you may as well trash it now. Your only hope to fix it is to find out which scope mfg made it and if they're still in business to send it in. The only worth it would be is if someone wanted to mount it on a gun for display or try to use it as is. $$ wise, not a clue.

Considering the age of the scope repair by manufacture is unlikely, best get a new scope a keep the Marlin scope as a collector piece.

Internal parts on most of those old 22 scopes were epoxied in place. You'd have to destroy the thing to get it apart.

Check Ebay to see what similar scopes are selling for.
