My guy called and said they should have more 795s in this week so I can start my Appleseed build.

Question that I had a thought on...has anyone changed their composite stock out for an older wood stock?

Numrich has older 705 stocks in for around $50...thought it might add a little weight balance to it.

From what I've found, there aren't many 795 stock options.

A nice wood stock would be good!

Should have been clearer. Gun shop will have the normal synthetic stocked 795 in this week (been out for about a month).

Numrich supposedly has wood stocks that fit them in stock.

I confuse myself sometimes when I get to typing ;D

I bought a 705 wood stock from Numrich for $45. Doesn't look too bad, a few very small dings but I am going to refinish it anyway. As far as fit on a 795? Can't tell you yet. My brand new 795 went back to Marlin because the barrel was overtightened putting the sights at 11:00. They are going to replace the whole rifle. When I get it back and test the fit of the new stock I will post again.
