I just bought a 7000 22 rifle.I mounted a scope, sighted it in,shoots great, very accurate.I ran about 100 rnds thru it & noticed the scope mount had slipped to the rear about 1/2"on the reciever.Everthing is still very tight.Has anyone else had this happen & what did you do to correct it?Thanks for your help!

The brand of rings might have something to do with it. I used Millet cheapies on my 7000T and they worked fine. I have used strips of shim stock on the two 22's I had that problem with, and it seemed to work okay. SW

raid your wifes nail polish & put a drop infront & behind the mount on the rail. that will help you keep it there & serve as a benchmark if they move,oh yea try for som clear that glittery kind may get you laughed at  mike
