I have a few Marlin firearms - Model 56, Camp 9, Camp 45, 1894 Limited Edition .357, 1894 Limited Edition .44 & a Model 103 Sport King pistol - but no .22LR semi-automatic rifle. I have a couple of cases of Remington Target ammo from CMP, but my S&W M&P 15-22 doesn't like the Rem ammo.

Does the Marlin 60SS tolerate Remington Target ammo? What's your experience? Thanks...

they work best with hi-velocity 22 ammo. cci is best of course.

My 56 eats anything. The only thing I have trouble with in my Model 60s (1983 & 1984) and Model 70 (1994) are the Federal 525 bulk packs (#745) and the Federal Champion (#510, which is the same as American Eagle 5022). The autos even shoot Thunderbolts.

I don't have any of the Remington target ammo. Wanna send me some and I'll test it for you? :biggrin:

Mine will run any ammo but is most accurate with standard velocity. You should do well with the Remington Target.
