Some nice looking wood there, and a good photo of what the period sight hood should look like....

I just got a 1955 off Gunbroker for $250. Not quite as good condition and of course not a first year but it did have the hood. These are very nice guns as shooters and considering the CPI, less than I'd have paid for the same gun in my youth. Neither here nor there in a way, but where do you get this sort of quality for only $500 today?

Good find on your mountie. Is the barrel roll stamped Micro-groove? Let us know how she shoots.

Yes, a microgroove! Did pretty well with Aguila Colibri. I will finally get to the range with the PPs tomorrow.

Mine looks just like that one but has an "M" prefix.Aspittin image as far as condition.Shore is fun shootin.
