Very nice work by your grandfather. That's a priceless heirloom to be kept in the family for a long time.

Thank you for the kind words. If I can get some pics of the 336 I will post them. The 336 has a minor flaw in the buttstock. When he was carving it he did not know there was knot in the wood until too late. So there is a brown spot near the butt. He also did a Remington 760 but he sold that one off. I believe he made 3 stock sets from one block of wood.
