Hi Guys, I need help? Ihave two Marlin 39A's both with R prefix's, 20 inch barrels both 98% but very different. One has all the barrel ID close to the receiver and the "MarlinGolden 39A - Mountie" is in Gold, the trigger is Gold, the furniture is oil finish and the Butt Plate has the White spacer. The other one has the barrel ID before the sight riser the ID is higher up on the barrel so the top of "The Marlin Firearms Co" is missing and it has "Est. 1870", is labeled a "Marlin 39A", blued trigger, clear coat furniture, round trigger spur and the Butt Plate is Black no white spacer. I assume they made two Carbines in 1958? Is one more rare than the other? Thanks and mega Thanks if you know quantity made of each
