Just wondering what ammo some are using when there using their 357 for deer? Now that there legal in Ohio I planning to use mine. There have been so many changes in ammo the last few years just wondering what works best for you?

Lyman 358156GC, alloy Lyman #2, (163gr), W296 powder @15.5 gr., and CCI 550 primer. I haven't shot a deer with this load yet but this is what I will use if I should hunt with my 357 Mag. I am mainly stuck on using my 44 Mag's, 41 Mag and my 45 Colt and 38-55 for deer hunting t the present time.

I have the 158 grain soft points. Have not shot a deer yet so can't tell you anything but that's what I have the gun sighted in for.
