Dear all,
One technical question you may help me with:
I am close to buy an old Marlin 1895 and this hapened during a first inspection
I tried to circle a dummy round and for getting this long round into the loading gate i have to slightly open the lever otherwise the round won t slide into the loading gate completely. With the lever slightly opened it worked well and the round was then without problems ejected as well.
Is it true that for max OAL round the lever has to be open a bit?? I am confused...
What is the regular max OAL for 45-90 in a Marlin 1895 rifle made in 1900??
Thanks for your help
Tom
