Out of curiosity, I emailed Marlin and asked when they'd start production on the 1894c .357

Dear Sir,
Thank you for contacting Marlin Firearms! This model will be in production throughout January. We should have some available soon to send out to the wholesalers. Our production schedule is subject to change at any time.

I wouldn't take Marlin's word if they said the "Sky is Blue and clouds are usually White". I'd go outside and check. :stupido2:

I thought the 357 was model 1894c
It is unless they changed it. The 1895 is a longer action for rifle length calibers.

I thought the 357 was model 1894c
I was wondering the same.
The fact that the Marlin rep missed it does not instill confidence.
Though, the 1895 would be a good candidate for the 357 Maximum.
