Hi guys,

I am going to have a gunsmith mount my Lyman peep sight on my 336C .35 Rem. I just don't like the Williams as much. (The Williams used the existing scope holes to the rear). My Marlin is only a couple of years old new production, and there is no drill and tapped screw holes on the left of the receiver like the older models. I just want to ensure that when my gunsmith drills and taps for the Lyman, that it is in the EXACT location Marlin used to have it. If I recall years ago it was directly under the ejector hole on the left side.
Anyway, anyone with info on this would be appreciated. A picture would even be better! :D

My guess is that your gunsmith will know where to properly locate the holes. They are all in the same spot. That is 2cm down from the top of the reciever and 3 1/2 cm and 2 1/2 cm from the edge of the reciever (in 3 1/2cm and 2 1/2cm).
