Geesh, what a circus. After working up some loads to try,I went to make up some. Discovered my decapping pin is gone. No idea where it is. I load on a Dillon but do it in a single stage fashion. Imagining the worse I'm wondering if it ended up in one of the loaded rounds. I don't see how. I size, clean pocket, prime, load powder by hand, then seat bullet. I don't see any danger.

Time to put the magnet to work. I think that steel pin would play havoc with the rifling in your barrel.

I'll try both never thought of a magnet. I think they use the headless pins. If the Collet loosens it will fall out. Most likely ended up on floor and got vacuumed.

This is me being me. I always look through the primer pocket to make sure there's no cleaning media. I should be paranoid Mike instead of big Mike. The little voice says..... Did you not check one?
