Was cleaning the guns yesterday and got around to the Model 36. I noticed that it had two drilled and tapped factory screw holes with screws set in place where I assume one could install a tang sight? If this is correct, does anyone know what quality tang sight would fit this?

Rear Open Sight for my 36.

I hope you have luck in your queries,.......I have the tang peep sight for mine, but I need the rear open insight for mine. I looked at one of the suggestions for the tang sights but none of them look like mine. You might want to keep searching. Mine is a Marlin Model 1936 30-30 square bolt. My serial number is 4847. Good Luck.

I put a Williams receiver Peep sight on mine in the holes that are factory drilled and tapped on your receiver.Other than npt looking as cool as the tang sight it works very good for intended purpose.
