I am going to start reloading for the 44 Mag and have a couple of pounds of Lil' Gun on hand already,so I am going to try it out in the 1894 Cowboy Limited I recently acquired.I was hoping to get some info on it as a powder choice,I have heard of some people using it and having good luck.I will be using Win cases,Nosler 240 JSP bullets and probably WLP primers. If anyone has any experience with this powder in the 44Mag,I'd appreciate your input.Thanks.

It should work as well as H110/W296 and at about the same pressures. Go to Hogdon.com for complete loading data.

LilGun works good for the 44mag. I like to use the regular primers for it and the mag primers with the H110/W296. You can reduce your powder charge a little more with it than with the other two with it but it's still a high velocity powder.
