I have loaded 170gr Interlocks with 32gr of Re15 for awhile and they shoot great. The only thing
is that they only fly at 2050fps.Im not totally concerned about the speed but it would be nice to have
them another 100-150fps faster.Im looking to pick up some Lever E powder to see if it works on the
170gr fp.I find the fp bullet easier to load than the FTX bullet and are less finicky.I notice alot more
thump when the 170gr hits the target also.Anybody think about the same?????

I really don't think there is anything wrong with a 170 gr bullet at 2050 fps. I shooting them at 2125 fps and the certainly kill deer quite dead! If you can get to 2200 fps that would be great, but the deer will hardly notice.

I've got a great BL-C(2) load that goes from 2050 to 2150 dept. on outside temps. The new LEV won't do that temp. variation, gives better accuracy and about 100 to 200fps faster...

I have some 170gr Sierra FP's loaded up in the LVR powder. I will let you know how I make out. It is out of a Winchester M94AE 30-30, but it should be comparable. Scotty
