Bought a Glenfield 36G recently . It will be rebarreled by McGowen in 7-30 Waters and will be restocked with Tree Bone Carving wood . Hopefully whole deal can be done in 4-6 months .

They are great for customizing as you can usually get them cheap. And no safety!

I didn't get this one as cheap as I thought I should. But the reciever and mag tube are rust free . Gun was made in 1965. Actually if I could find a couple more 36G's cheap I would most likely get them for possible future projects.
I wanna make something along the lines of a 6.5-30AI . Don't know why , but I do :wink:
And possibly a 307 WIN , but I think I would be more comfortable with that in a new gun like the 336XLR 8)
