I heard a rumor on the AR forum about Marlin having the patent or whatever for L C Smith shotguns and they might begin making some doubles?

Has anyone heard of this? Let's all put our ears to the rail and see if we can find out... Could be interesting if they're well made.

I don't know about the patent thing but if you go to the Marlin web site, they have the shotguns listed on it. I think it is under "New for 2005". They look like they are really nice.

I handled a 20 ga sxs today. Got one word. NICE!!! That is one fine gun. The receiver is light to match the barrels. There's a great Fleur-de-lis style checkering on the grip. That is one nice gun.
