It is an 1894CCL. Can anyone tell me how many were made and when? This one has a one digit serial number.

Your gun came from a speical run for Davidson's in 1999. There were 1000 made and the serial number is which ever one of the 1000 yours is. I have one and it's a great little gun.

I, too have a 41 Mag CCL. I believe it is from the same Davidson's 1999 run the other gent was speaking of. What a sweet little rifle it is! Lots of luck with your new acquisition.

Yep, the .41 Mag. is a great round in a Marlin lever. Mine is an 1894S, bought in 1987, and it goes with me many places.

Have fun. L.W.

Mine is in the 200 range of serial numbers. I'm very pleased with this nice little rifle and it has accounted for venison in the freezer.

Rich

Gents,
20" octagon barrel? "Ballard" rifling? Straight stock with no checkering?
