Goodbye Timmy.

I will miss you.

He just called the other day and said he wanted to move back to Hays, Kansas. Did not know it would be this way.

He introduced me to my wife of 30+ YEARS.

55 is to young.

Hi 1948-336, I am from northeast Florida near Jacksonville. Sorry to hear to hear you lost your hunting partner at the young age of 55. Jesus will watch over his family and make it easier for them cope with his loss. Marla

Thanks for you thoughts and prayers, the phone call last night was a real shock.

It did bring back a lot of old memories all good.

Steve,

Sorry to hear that. I've had to say goodbye to some very close friends when I was in the service (folks are ALWAYS on the move!) You know it's almost like a death in the family. Even though they will still be around somewhere, it won't be the same. I guess my best advice would be to be the best friend you can be, do something kind for him before he goes, and maybe develop the fine art of correspondence. :)

Maybe you could organize hunts together once or more times a year?

T-Bone I realized you did not understand and no hard feelings at all. My post was not that clear, I was not thinking real good at the time I first posted.

I am planning on getting a little help from him anyway when I am out hunting. He can steer the big buck by me!

A sad time. I'd be willing to guess that there will be alot of smiles and memories for you this fall as you recount good times.
