Anyone experience any problems with standard jacketed 38 special ammo in the CBC?

I'm thinking about picking one up as a plinking/small game rifle but I tend to prefer jacketed bullets. I guess I'm worried that the 38 might not have enough ooomph to get the bullet out of the bore consistantly. Is this a valid concern? These rifles are showing up at reduced prices more and more frequently and would make a nice change of pace from the big bores.

I bought one when they first come out and I have had jacketed bullets lodge in the barrel if I shoot light loads in cold weather. Gun shoots great if I load at near max loads.

That's what I was afraid of. I have a feeling I'd be constantly checking the bore to see if it's clear. Not a real confidence builder.

My 1894C loves +P 125 grain JHP's. I don't know about standard velocity stuff, but have no fear with warm .38's.
