Anna
I have just returned from the US, while there I purchased several hunting magazines, while some of the articles are good I am deeply worried about the amount of adverts for viagra and like products, is this a reflection on the average hunters love life , is this why we need bigger guns and longer barrels. I will be returning shortly for the Shawnee hunt and would like any advise you can give so that my wife will not be dissapointed when I return home :D

How does this relate to my love of old single shots, with 10 lb barrels? I'm worried too!

FORGET THE ADS!!!!

OK, you guys! Now you know that not all hunters need bigger guns and longer barrels to get their prey. A lot depends on how well you see and what kind of action your gun has. Also, you need to take good care of it, i.e. keep it clean...especially the barrel so that when you get ready to shoot it won't be clogged. It should last you a long time if you keep it protected. A real man knows whether or not he needs a bigger gun and/or a longer barrel!

Gee Whizz...Should I answer or not?At my age I have alot of "Hunting" experience and "Shot Placement" is way more important than caliber.

If you get the "Right Spot" the game is yours reguardless of caliber.Just a fan of old Jack O'Conner and Premium bullets.
