Does the buttcuff stay put under recoil? I tried a nylon one on a 20 gauge and it moved around. I have a leather lace on model for my 30-30 that i lace to the slingstud. It stays put.

Why ??? I like walnut too but that gun screams with that B&G laminated stock. Looks nice.

Yes it does look good with the laminate. Thats what attracted me to the GBL, but then I went and put walnut on it anyway. I guess I just prefer it. When I saw the walnut on the STBL for the first time I couldn't get ove how good it looked! Stainless and walnut! 8)

So far the butt cuff is working fine, possibly due to the sling stud protruding thru it.
I DO plan on a good cuff later however.

Thanks mainecat, unfortunately the bushnell green/red dot gave out after a few boxes of Hornady LevRev...

but the xs ghost ring site is just fine any way.

Evil one, are you going to put an optic on top or just use the XS ghost ring sights?

Send it back! Bushnell has excellent customer service! I have dealt with them before. Unfortunatly more than once. :-[
