Product Air gun Gun barrel Everyday carry Wood

A buddy from Texas sent me this pic today. He wasn’t able to go, but a friend of his took this picture and sent it to him, and he sent it to me…

Look at the 336 “100 year anniversary gun”. Mint he says!

And my friend’s buddy said that right after he took the pic another guy walked up, bought it, and was bragging about the deal he just got.

I think I’m going to take all of mine to the Texas panhandle and set up at the next gun show. (No I’m not, but if that is the state of affairs, it sure is tempting.)

Yes sir, one of the worst hack jobs I’ve ever seen. And the bull’s eye has been drilled out too.

True.
For the record, I’m a capitalist. Ask whatever you want to ask, pay all you want to pay. I just have a real problem with seller’s telling bald faced lies.

Gun shows! What a hot steaming pile of fecal matter they have become. Used to get a deal here and there, but now these charlatans ask more for a used beater than a brand new gun of the same make and model. Last show I was at, I looked at a used Rossi lever action in .45 Colt. I was interested as I also have a SAA clone in the same caliber. I asked the guy for his bottom dollar and he replied $1600! MSRP for a new one is $1000 less than that. Guys selling .30-30 ammo for $55-$65 a box for regular old soft points. Another joker had used Hi-Point pistols for $500. Dumb kid bought one saying, "Those guns are priced to sell!". Watched another old shyster buy an old, worn out revolver for $400 at one table, and then turn around and tell me it was a family gun he inherited from his great-uncle who brought it home from WW1. Wanted $800 for it, and he just happened to have some .45 Auto Rim to fit it at $120 a box. That was 16 months ago, I'm done with gunshows, will never attend another.

I haven't been to a gun show since early 2020. I walked out of that one with a nice safe queen 1960-61 Marlin 336SC in 35 Remington with a 2.5x Micro Power scope, for a steal by today's prices. Gun shows have gotten ridiculous since the pandemic.
