I see people are reading it but not reply's as of yet.Hello everyone I am reaching out to anyone who may have a spare new or used Model 70 magazine latch & ejector, I have looked for the past 3 hours and have only found discontinued or out of stock websites. My Son gave me the rifle to replace the Marlin 60 I have with a bad receiver, (The recoil spring rod hole cracked a chunk out of it rendering it not usable). When I broke down the 70 the screw under the mag latch has to be held up because it is over a flat head screw (Great design there) and i figured i could bend it up a little to give me more room, well the damn thing snapped off leaving me with no way to hold my magazine in place and if it did no way to release it. This is why i am reaching out to Marlin Owners on here to see if anyone can help me out.

Thank you, i will post of picture of the frankstein after i finish with the stock. I call it that because i have a Marlin 60 barrel on it is longer than the 795. getting the barrels off are a pain by the way. then i have the 60's bolt and hammer group right now, so when i do get in the part i ordered i will then have a Mag feed as well as be able to hold 14 in the tube for backup just in case. Always good to have a few extra shots you can grab for if your out in the field. I am just happy someone got the part i needed in stock.Fantastic!
