Both of my sons have deer come into their back yard, matter of fact the youngest boy shot a big 9 point eating white oak acorns about 30 yards from his front door. They are always saying that they need some deer meat and their wives say the same thing but they refuse to shoot a deer on their property for some unknown reason. I can guarantee you one thing and that is their old man doesn't think like them. I don't look at the deer as being a pet, I look at it as being a plate full of backstrap.

I like venison as much as anybody, but I like seeing deer around too. I don't think I could shoot one close to the house either, I'm sure I wouldn't.

But the likelihood of me ever living anyplace like that is nil.....

these deer were on my camera, I think they were looking up to heaven praying for safety, but I don't recall there prayer being heard. I don't think they made it,,,,,,,,,,,
