The M375 was first cataloged in 1980 and stayed in the Marlin catalog thru 1986. Off hand I don't recall seeing an example with a serial number date above 1980, but I know examples exist. Interestingly, the last Marlin catalogs listing the 375 Winchester say that it is available in the carbine model (CS w/20" barrel and long mag tube); I've never seen an example or met anyone who has? Perhaps that was a phantom model like the 336ER in 307 Win?

Wouldn't surprise me that some 375s were made in 1984. I have a 1983 1894C pre-safety 357 Mag---suposedly Marlin went to the CBS safety exclusively in 1983. Marlin never let any parts go to waste.
