I got a synthetic stock for an older Marlin tube fed. It had a rough brown paint job on it. I tried to remove the paint but it wasn't happening. So I just lightly shot it with Hunter Green, and speckled some Desert Tan over it.

It's not Camo, but I think it turned out well.

I just looked. It's Krylon Fusion for plastics. Even though it already had a coat of paint on it...
Got it at Walmart.
And it was Khaki, not Desert Tan

I used the various cami Krylon Fusion to paint this 795. Good product.

Yep that walmart krylon is the way to go. Had to do a paint job on a synthetic stock, for my grandaughter.

Search the forum about Rit Dye. Specifically member Centaur 1 if I remember correctly. He did a lot of wood dying and I think gave some good insight on the process in some threads.
