I am new to the forum, but have been a lover of Marlin rifles as long as I can remember. Learned to shoot with a 336, took my first deer with the same rifle. Seems like the rifle was bigger than I was back then. I recently got a 1952 waffle top 336, and just a couple days later got an 1895G. Can't quite remember when I was led astray and started using bolt guns, but I am surely glad to be back with the lever rifles. I do leather work as a hobby/side job, so I am gonna dress 'em up a bit. And I already ordered my Skinner lo-pro for the 1895. Anyways, it's nice to be a part of this forum. Have a good day.
