I saw the new GMX bullet on Midway's web site this morning. I ordered a box. It is odd that Midway lists these as 150 grain bullets. I suspect that this is a mistake.

I called them yesterday about the fupa. I knew they had them and couldn't find them because I was looking under their search for bullets under 149 grains. I searched under the Hornady # and found them. I have 4 boxes in the mail and will see if I can get a 30-30 load worked up using the Leverevolution powder. I spoke with the techs at Hornady and they said to use the 160 gr FTX load data for that bullet because it will generate about the same pressure as the 160 gr FTX.

I shot two strings of these today in my 30 caliber wildcat. Accrucy was good - around 1" at 100 yards. The pressure appeared higher that the pressure that the 160 grain bullets generate with the same powder charge. The brass stretched a little more with the monoflex 140 than it does with the FTX 160. I'd suggest starting .5 to 1 grain less than your max 160 grain FTX load.

I didn't chronograph the loads but I will next week.
