I was very disappointed taking my scoped Henry 41mag. lever rifle and scoped Ruger SBH Hunter in the same caliber to the range, shooting the new 41mag. FTX factory loadings. My SBH which is a very accurate shooter, I was only able to shoot at best a 4"-4 1/2" groups (5 shots) at 25yds. off a bench/bags. My Henry was on par, shooting the same size groups at 50yds. (5 shots) also off a bench/bags. I usually shoot under 1 inch with the SBH and 1"--1 1/2" with the Henry. As of yet Hornady doesn't have any stats for the reloader using these 190g. FTX bullets. Has anyone else have any experience using these factory rounds ?

I finally got the info/stats from Hornady for reloading the 190g. FTX bullets for my Henry BBS. 41mag. With my loadings, I was able to get 1" groups with 2 different powders and 1 ragged hole 3 shot group with another at 54 yds.. All at the same velocity (1700 fps.) off a bench/bags. I haven't tried my Ruger SBH with these loadings, I'm happy shooting 7/8" group (6 shots) at 25 yds. with the 210g. Deep Curl bullets (1300 fps) also off a bench/bags.
