Yes I did load some about a year ago or so, worked good. Make sure to use the flat nose in a lever rifle. I used the Lee factory crimp and loaded to correct C.O.A.L. The loads shot very good from my 1895GS. I now use Beartooth's 525 gr Pile-Driver and save some money. The 480 grain Hornady bullets will also have to be loaded deeper then the crimping groove for a Marlin.

I was using IMR4198 at the time, only use RL-7 now for the 45-70 and IMR4198 for the 458 WM. Tested at 38 grains on IMR and never loaded above that. Would start at 35 gr and use a crono.
