I did not get around to loading these. I started with the 300g HP and was moving to these and found some of the Hornady 350g FP. The RN were developed for the 458Win Mag but Hornady list them for the 45/70 and 450 Marlin. From what I have read on here and other forums, they work well in 45/70 but have minimal expansion on medium size game.

I reload these 350g for my hunting buddy (IMR 4198,max loadings, Hornady 8th edition) in his Rossi lever. No problems cycling or stopping big game.
