Please answer the poll and if you'd like, post your comments as well.
I'd also be interested in your condition requirements.. and yes, I understand that there are exceptions for everything. ;)

Gracias,

You left a choice off! How about with a half octagon barrel?

I don't know why but there is just something so CLASSIC about an octagon barrel. I do have a Winchester 1892 with a round barrel and I sure wouldn't trade it seeing the way it shoots so like your say there are some exceptions!

I just love my Marlins!!

I think my MR 7 and the Camp 9 would look silly with an octagon barrel, but I LOVE my 1894 cowboy with one. And I got real excited to find out I could get a 1897 newer model with the octagon barrel.

My husband prefers the round barrel, but he understands my love for the "cowboy" look.

I think all lever guns should have octagon barrels, but I rarely get my way. Actually I own 6 lever guns and only one has an octagon. No Marlins with octagon, yet.

Heck, I figured either worked for that one. ;)
