I'm done. Picked up '75 336 3030 at pawn shop. Has hole on either side of front band and out of whack stock hole. Gonna dowel them up. Also 2 small stock cracks but is a shooter. Off to range tamale.

Also, there is a nice '50's 336rc 3030 at this shop if anyone is in Houston/Baytown area.

Fine-looking Texan you have there texjam! I don't see too many of those in these parts - actually, haven't seen any. :D

It's amazing how the Bubba and Bubbaettes can take a perfectly good gun and butcher it. Those are folks that should not be allowed near a firearm.

Let's see some pics when you get it fixed up!

It's the first one I've seen since I been 'educated'. Guess I'll poke another stock hole in it later.

Went to range. Stock buckhorns at 25 and 50. Able to get in a 2" circle comfortably at 50. Have a stripped front band screw. Presume Midway or somebody's got a replacement.
