Was at my personal range this morning shooting some stuff. One of which was my "spare" iron sighted 444p. I was shooting up some cast gaschecked 250 gr. bullets cast from WW's ahead of a dose of H335. One of my hanging gongs is a section cut from a truck wench bumper. I was surprised that at 100 yards that bullet would punch a good 1/2" sized hole clean through the bumper. My "normal" load for my other scoped hunting "P" is a cast 310 gr bullet pushed by

a dose of H4198. Will have to try it on the bumper next time.

Sometimes mine will through hole, sometimes not, I think there is a lot of variables that have to be aligned up for them to punch holes!

Remind me to stay away from where you live, if the Wenches are such a problem that you have to build special bumpers to keep them at bay.
