Having set my Camp 45 up as a Bug Out gun with folding stock, I am looking at options for higher capacity magazines. I tried a ProMag 15 rounder and it stinks on ice. So I thought I would try one of the 28 round drum mags.

Reviews were much better than ProMag, with a couple of negatives. Anyone here have any suggestions. And yes, I have plenty of standard 7 and 8 round mags that run just fine.:burnout:

First, I have tried several ProMags' in various (around 5) pistols and rifles. None have worked for me. YMMV. Before you buy a high cap magazine for the camp 45 think about that little plastic piece will hold that very heavy magazine in the well. A full 28 round magazine could be too much for the magazine release little piece of plastic. The McCormick 10 round magazines work well for me.

7 to 10 rounds Per magazine should be enough. You do know that zombies allow you to reload, right?

I have the Camp9 in a 15rnd max cap state. :\

FYI, I have the Iver Johnson 28rnd drum, and it functions flawlessly.
