Hi there!!
I just joined your community because i want to find some information on my next gun, i'm looking for some lever action, but i need to collect some information first because I live in Italy so every gun purchase must be well thought out to avoid, at the least, a sitting duck in the gun safe because there are no places to shoot!!

Thanks for your patience, have a good day, and keep shooting!

Welcome, sir!
Find yourself a Marlin, and you will have a wonderful, quality lever-gun that will outlast you and several generations.

Welcome aboard. :)

Welcome in the MO Forum from Germany!
Great folks, profound knowledge and good humour are here to be found.

Man I know your plight considered Gunlaws.

A 336 is never a bad idea but they are on the European Marked (used) more often then a good old 39 in .22 LR no matter what model of those you choose.

This would be the right thing to start, if you follow me.
Before you get one make a decision if you want a Model with a straight grip or a Model with pistol grip, this depends on the way you like to shoot more.

For bench resting I would prefer a pistol grip, because you do not have to bend you wrist so much. Thats the experiance of me with my two straight grip rifles.

.22 LR is a cheap calibre and if you train a lot you'll get very good groups with it even on 100 Meters.

If you start with a 336 that's fine too, but consider the price per round. :D

However you decide take the time to test as much as possible and enjoy the forum.
