Hi All:

I'm currently shopping for my first Marlin and first Lever Gun. I think I found one (an 1894C) and hope to finalize the deal shortly.

I'm from California in the Sacramento area. I have been a gun owner since my first Remington Bolt-Action .22 as a child in the 1960's (I still have the gun). I also enjoy my Colt AR-15 (bought legally before the ban) as well as several handguns. There are a lot of rifle ranges in the area and a few local places in the wild to shoot safely.

I've always wanted a nice lever gun and lately while watch several episodes of "Have-Gun, Will-Travel" on Netflix, I got the itch again. I said to myself, "What are you waiting for?".

So here I am. This site seems to be full of nice people with great info, so I hope to be around a long time.
