The mountain lion season here is drawing closer to ending, as the number of long tails taken is approaching the limit set by the State GF&P. Notably, there were over 19,000 tags issued for 45 total cats or 30 females (whichever limit is reached first).

Kudos to the guy that took the 177 Lb critter about 50 miles south of where I live. Here is the article telling more about it.
