I ordered my 45-70 GBL a week ago tomorrow. I'm sure it will be a Remlin. Pray for us my marlin brothers in arms. I dont want to go what some of you guys have been through.

Good luck. I was in a "Dick's Sporting Goods" today and had a chance to look over two 336's,
both by Remington. Outwardly they looked OK. Fit and finish was satisfactory, everything
looked straight.

This store will not remove the trigger locks, so I was unable to lever the actions. If I was
a serious buyer, I would have made some demands, but such was not the case.

Just my observation.
