I was pointed to this website as a place that has a lot of knowledgeable people about older firearms.

I had a Brother recently offer to sell me a few old firearms he found. They are marked as:

Bolt action .22LR, J. Stevens Arms Co., Patent April 22,1913.

Shotgun, Forehand Arms Co., Worcester MA, Patent Feb 1895.

Shotgun, Champion, Patent Jul 20 1886 and May 1887.

Colt Automatic Manufacturing Company, Hartford, CT .25 cal, Patents Aug 25, 1896, Apr 20, 1897, Dec 22 1903, and Jan 25, 1910.

I am trying to get more information from him, but any help here would be appreciated!

Welcome aboard Epeescot! I'm not that good on older guns, but Stevens has been around making .22s a while. Old shot guns, especially if they are single shot (colt's legs we call em, due to the kick) seem to have been made by small firms that opened and went under all over the place. Colt made pocket pistols (like your .25 acp?) for a few years before the 1911 came on board. Hope this helps.
