Hi,

I'm owner of a brand spanking new Marlin X7VH 26" heavy barrel in caliber 308win.
My goal is to shoot with it at 300 yards and see what I can squeeze out of it.

The road to the Marlin was troubled due to choose between a Howa 1500 and the Marlin X7VH.
My heart said Howa, my common sense did say Marlin.
Luckely my heart listened to my common sense

So thats in short how I become a Marlin owner

Welcome to the forums from the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee! You chose wisely! We would love to see a picture of your rifle. I'm sure that 300 yards or meters is well within the capabilities of it. We're glad you joined us!

Thank you all for the warm welcome :)

I do also shoot clay pigeons with my Browning ultra skeet and teaching others how to hit the clays (certified instructor)
And sometimes I shoot with my sao Paolo .44 BP revolver.
I place some picture here when I made them.

Hello and welcome to mo from North carolina, Congrats on the new rifle. Keep us posted on how she shoots.
I will keep you all posted about the scores.
I got a competition range about 3 miles from my home, I only have to find out how the digital score system can print my scores.
