Hello from San Antonio! I'm a long time lurker on this site the last 15 years, mostly researching vintage models 39, 60/99 and 336. Growing up in the 90s, we had a marlin 60 we learned to shoot with and my dad had a 336sc we also learned to shoot with. I'm looking forward to learning more!

Hockley Tx is a hour NW of Houston, in beautiful Waller County. We are off highway 290.

I went to Lamar in Beaumont for a year before going to Texas A&M Kingsville. Love the pine trees around the Houston area.

I was stationed at Ft Sam back in '71 and more recently worked out of Pleasanton for ~3 years before being retired due to the China virus and down-turn in the oilfield.
