I have been a bolt gun and assault weapon guy most of my life, with the exception of my late N frame Smith binge (which is just the result of me coming full circle. I started out on N frames).

I bought an 1894 off of Redmist just today. I'm very looking forward to shooting it and getting acquainted minted with it.

I normally go to Carter's Country in Spring. It's only a few miles away from my Mom's house. I'll go shoot a while then stop in at Mom's to visit and have some good home cooked dinner.

Hotwells is less than 10 minutes from my home. I've been there many times. It's a good place to stop in for a quickie, like checking a hunting rifle before season.

I once shot a LOT at Hot Wells, back when I shot a lot of muzzleloader (.54 T/C Hawken). Now I'm 200+ miles up the road, no longer shoot BP, and now shoot my 1895SS. ;D I think I like the .45-70 even more than the .54!!! ;D
