I just purchased my first Marlin yesterday - I am a fan of older pump guns and just couldn't pass up a Model 27-S I found at an antique show. It's a 25-20 and I've found the serial number - not much luck finding dates yet. I appreciate this forum - I've learned a lot already. I've owned lots of Winchesters - looking forward to firing this one.

Howdy from a fellow Arkie!!

I was at Mammoth Springs this past weekend for some trout fishing...so at least we have the "Springs" in common.. :D

That's like a postman taking a walk on his day off. ;D

Welcome to our neck of the woods and Eureka Springs is a pretty cool little place for us touristas eh?

I think you're right about the postman example - I never knew a wireman who had his own place in full repair:)

We love our touristas - come again soon!
