Hey guys,
I have been hearing a lot of bad things about the new SBL's so I just wanted to say I got a great one. It has a 91XXXXX serial number and looks and shoots like a Marlin should (perfect). I liked the look of the stainless and grey laminate so much I dressed up my Sig P226 Elite to match.

Cheers, Ben

Thats a great setup you beat me to the punch. I already have the p220 with the equinox grips I'm just still waiting for the sbl I ordered to come in. Once my 336 with the walnut furniture comes in I have a p220 to go with it too. enjoy them they look great

Hi and welcome! Nice pair. The 91xxxxxx serial number tells me that at least the receiver was made in North Haven. It may have been assembled by Remington but CT craftsmen made your receiver! From what I hear, you got very lucky!

Hi Marlin SBL, from what I can work out the 91xxxxxx numbers were the last of the good Marlins and I bet it has the JM stamp on it too.
