Question about how far apart to place gun racks when building a horizontal gun rack. Any info would help. Thanks

Width dimension on these "standard" horizontal racks look to be 24".

Yep. Ted at 7.62x54r,net gets my vote for basic design instructions as well. He also sells pre cut pcs.
