Maybe an unsual question. I am in the process of trying to acquire a 336BL which is the same barrel length as the 1895 Guide Gun. Would the Guide Gun Set be a good set up on this rifle as well?

Thanks

Dan, can you be more specific? Not sure what you're asking.

Sorry for the delay...had to go to lovely Ft Hood for a few days.

The basic thought is whether the Guide Gun sights from Skinner will work on the 336BL. This rifle has the same barrel length as my 1895ABL Guide Gun.

I am looking at possibly buying one from a member on the forums (if he is willing to part with it ;D)

Hello Medic,

Yes the Guide gun sights will work on your 336BL and the front sight should be about right. We ship them at .500" tall so if the one you are looking at hasn't been altered it should give you enough room to trim to an exact height for your load and rifle.

If you do purchase one secondhand, please know that we will repair or refurbish it, if necessary in any way, free of charge.

If for some reason the current owner wishes not to part with it.... I can always sell you a new one! :)

And thank you for your service to our country. Really.... We owe the Men and Women who are putting their lives on the line more than we can ever really express. Stay safe, our prayers are with you.

Thanks for the info Andy. I will be buying the rifle from one of our members here and getting the sights from you.

Thanks for the kind words as well. I retired a couple of years ago and now work for Uncle Sam as a contractor helping keep those in uniform ready to go where needed. They are great men and women.
